It's already 1955 now, and since we last saw them, the relationship between Inspector Sullivan and Mrs. Devine has become increasingly close - this has not escaped the attention of Father Brown and Brenda. With a food to die for, a real-life crime from a crime writing festival, and a deadly rural confrontation, this gang has a lot to do.
