(劇透) 一個七十多歲的老婆婆，在鏡頭面前向全世界講述她跟藝術家的愛情故事：她是著名挪威女演員莉芙烏曼(Liv Ullmann)，藝術家是已故的瑞典電影大師英瑪褒曼。女演員和導演，不是順理成章也是近水樓台。她是他的御用女主角、靈感女神，在拍攝電影《假面》 (Persona)的時候燃起愛火。那時候，雙方皆已婚，那是不倫之戀。他們拋開元配在Faro小島上相宿相棲，不結婚但育有一女，但愛火最終也炙熱傷人。
褒曼的控制慾和嫉妒心甚強，他要成為烏曼戲裡戲外的導演，逼使她除了演戲的時候、以及逢週三的「假期」外

可能是电影大师吧，本质上就一自恋狂。把女人当成血包吸食，用于缓解妨碍他创作的阴暗面，所谓的爱情和灵魂伴侣，都是自恋型人格障碍欺骗自己和他人的手段。一旦吸血成功，这个女人就成了奴隶，变成影响他追求理想的累赘。可怜的女人还因为男人的一句赞美觉得无比光荣。一颗星不是给电影的，而是给这位大师的人格。

作为纪录片来说，是一部完成度与情感渲染力很出色的作品，尤其通过巧妙的蒙太奇将伯格曼/乌曼的电影和人生穿插并置重叠，仿佛假面一般模糊了现实与梦境的界限，晕染出爱情与生活的真相，听着丽芙缓缓又动情的讲述，我是真的相信即便岁月摧残了感情的相守相依，到头来折磨让相爱之人走向分离的必然归宿，丽芙那一颗颗动情的眼泪仍是对曾有过最美好时光的追忆与祝福，正如那湛蓝的眼眸深处藏着法罗岛海滩滚滚而来又逝去的风浪，将他们初遇年轻的我俩，你的害羞
